Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Training is a national certification through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. It is very similar to CPR/First Aid but the focus is on mental health. Participants will learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of someone struggling with a mental health issue, substance misuse, or suicidal thoughts and will learn what to say and what to not say to people struggling to encourage them to seek the appropriate help.
